As part of EE's showcase, "EE’s Connected World," a point-of-sale video was created for the EE Car WiFi product.
In the video created for EE’s Connected World to promote the EE Car WiFi product, the scene opens with a family driving in a car. The two children in the backseat are visibly restless and start fighting, causing a stressful and chaotic atmosphere. The parents, clearly frazzled, are struggling to manage the situation as the noise and commotion escalate.
Then, the narrative shifts as the EE Car WiFi device is introduced. Once activated, the WiFi connection allows the children to access their favorite content on their devices. The previously chaotic scene transforms as the children become calm and focused on their screens, effectively stopping their fighting. The parents, now relieved, enjoy a quieter and more peaceful journey.
The video effectively demonstrates how EE Car WiFi can turn a potentially stressful car ride into a more enjoyable and harmonious experience by keeping children entertained and connected.
The production of the EE Car WiFi promotional video was an intricate process, filmed in a green screen studio with a car as the central prop. To ensure seamless integration of digital elements, the screens on the devices used by the children were tracked using Mocha Pro planar tracking data. This advanced tracking technology allowed for precise placement and movement synchronization of the digital content on the screens.
Additionally, the distinctive 3D EE-branded bubbles, which are a key visual element in the video, were crafted using a custom 3D motion rig made in Cinema 4D. This rig was specifically designed to create dynamic motion effects, adding a layer of visual sophistication to the video. The result was a polished and engaging point-of-sale video that effectively showcased the benefits of EE Car WiFi in a visually compelling manner.
